Teachers in Ternopil National Pedagogical University, understanding their role in shaping a new generation of teaching, able to build a new education form innovative approaches and pedagogical technologies, took part in the first mini-EdCamp in Lviv, which this weekend brought together over two hundred educators from all over Ukraine. A key topic of the meeting was to create an innovative environment in the school and discuss the role of the teacher in the process. The event was held in a new format (un) conference, which provides free discussion participants, the lack of a clear program, and thus an equal opportunity for each participant to express their ideas, share experiences and find like-minded people.

Associate professor of computer science and methods of teaching Bar A. presented the experience implemented to date methods of teaching science and reflected in a series of textbooks recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with the formation of subject competence of students in science lessons from 3rd to 7th grades. During one of the sessions of mini-EdCamp, which acted Olga, participants had the opportunity not only to learn from the approaches to teaching students based on the interests and needs of students, but also to try to propose and discuss interdisciplinary tasks aimed at solving specific practical problems and develop competencies of students. It is encouraging that students of Ternopil National Pedagogical University are such skills in the learning process and are able to immediately implement innovation in the educational practices in the future and improve their skills in professional activities.
